Key Responsibilities:
- Full end-to-end payroll processing for both weekly and monthly payroll
- Using Sage Payroll to process payments accurately and on time
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and company policies
- Managing payroll queries, working alongside HR to resolve queries
- Handling tax, NI, pensions, holiday pay, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and deductions
- Processing new starters, leavers, contract changes, and any payroll adjustments
- Preparing payroll reports and liaising with finance for reconciliations and audits
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll
- Strong knowledge of Sage Payroll
- Ability to interpret and apply payroll regulations and employment legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams
- A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple payroll deadlines
