This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a stable and growing business, working closely with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional looking for a flexible, part-time role in a friendly and supportive environment. You’ll be a key part of the team, working closely with HR to ensure smooth payroll operations while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full end-to-end payroll processing for both weekly and monthly payroll
  • Using Sage Payroll to process payments accurately and on time
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and company policies
  • Managing payroll queries, working alongside HR to resolve queries
  • Handling tax, NI, pensions, holiday pay, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and deductions
  • Processing new starters, leavers, contract changes, and any payroll adjustments
  • Preparing payroll reports and liaising with finance for reconciliations and audits

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll
  • Strong knowledge of Sage Payroll
  • Ability to interpret and apply payroll regulations and employment legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple payroll deadlines
