Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a reputable NHS hospital in Nottingham. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective delivery of pharmacy services to patients, specifically in a ward-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
  • Conduct medication reviews and support clinical teams in managing patient medication therapies.
  • Provide advice and information to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medications.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of pharmacy activities.
  • Participate in stock management, ensuring adequate supply and proper storage of medications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the wards to support optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Medicines Management qualification or previous hospital ward-based experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
