Purchasing Officer – Eastwood – To £27,500Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing, family-owned business who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Officer to join their team.Reporting into the Purchasing Team Leader, this newly created role is the perfect development opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to support the team.The business which has recently moved to brand new premises is going through a strong period of growth and it’s a very exciting time to join!In Return You’ll Receive: - 5% Performance related bonus

As the Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for: - Building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders
- Processing purchase requests and placing purchase orders
- Obtaining quotations from existing and new potential new suppliers
- Negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers
- Maintaining data onto system
- Creating new part numbers
- Analysing and resolving invoice queries by communicating with suppliers
Your working Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday Skills & Experience you require: - Experience within a similar role
- Previous knowledge of ERP systems desirable
- Ability to work with large amounts of complex data
- Strong negotiations skills
- Experience in organising and managing competitive tenders
