Their mission is to:Develop, deliver, and operate sustainable energy services and solutionsSupport the transition to an effective Net Zero futureYour new roleAs an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Produce accurate project commercial reports and forecasts
  • Prepare accurate and timely client valuations
  • Manage project sub-contract procurement
  • Prepare subcontracts and all required documentation in compliance with business guidelines
  • Manage and control sub-contract accounts and variations
  • Ensure commercial obligations of projects are administered according to client contracts
  • Collaborate with site operations and design teams to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities
  • Control change management processes
  • Liaise with Commercial Managers and Project Directors on contractual issues and take necessary actions
  • Attend project and company-related meetings
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients to aid future business development
  • Work on a range of project types, with a strong focus on medical projects around £7 million
  • Be flexible to travel as required, ensuring a minimum of 2 days on-site in line with project demands

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience within Quantity Surveying
  • IT literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
  • Experience in one of the following areas: M&E, MEP
  • Experience in managing multiple subcontractors on a single project
  • Experience in projects ranging from £2m to £20m in value
  • Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC Suite of Contracts
  • Experience and comfort in communicating with all levels of Senior Management and stakeholders
  • Ability to influence the project decision-making process
