Our Client
We are working with an internationally renowned Main Contractor, a leader in UK infrastructure, with a multi-billion-pound order book for the next decade. They specialise in delivering large-scale projects across water, highways, construction, and rail, and offer an environment where professional growth is actively supported.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team during a critical period for the water sector. You will provide key support to the team, mentoring junior staff and working closely with the Commercial Manager.
In this role, you will assist with the transition from AMP7 to AMP8, helping to close out final accounts and prepare for new work packages.
With AMP8 expected to begin in the coming months, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of your own work package from inception to completion. Your contribution will play a key role in improving vital infrastructure, addressing the issue of sewage entering natural waterways, safeguarding the environment and upholding clean water standards.
Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the water or civil engineering sectors. A strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and the ability to manage and mentor staff effectively will be essential.
