We are looking for a full-time Lettings Negotiator. As a small, dedicated team, every member is expected to take on a number of responsibilities, maximising their exposure to the wide breadth of services that they offer.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our client's successful and dedicated team at their independent Nottingham branch during a period of growth for the business.We are looking for a motivated and well-organised candidate to help deliver their property lettings service.

The team are committed to genuinely adding value to clients in all aspects of property letting and management and we are looking for someone who shares their focus on quality of service.

Please note for this role a minimum of 2 years’ experience is ideally required.

The new Lettings Negotiator responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Progress tenancy applications, book and carry out viewings, valuation requests and property take-ons and greet clients at the office;
  • Draft marketing details for property adverts;
  • Manage diary appointments and deal proactively with incoming phone and email enquiries;
  • Prepare and manage lettings documentation and certificates;
  • Assist the Lettings Manager with delivering on opportunities to generate new business;
  • Carry out general office duties in support of the wider team, this might include assisting with Property Management or sales items as and when needed;

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Be organised and show good attention to detail;
  • A flexible approach, positive attitude and willingness to adapt;
  • Share our clients core values of integrity and a desire to deliver work to the best of your ability;
  • Self motivated and ambitious;
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role;

Preferred:

  • The Level 3 Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management. If you do not have the Level 3 Award you will be expected to achieve this within your first year in the role and will receive a £1000 salary uplift on completion.
  • Drivers Licence;

  • Pay bands include a £1,200 contribution to parking;
  • The pay bands for this role reflect an expectation that our Lettings Negotiators have the Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management- England and Wales. If you are an experienced Lettings Negotiator without the Level 3 Award you will receive the £1,000 salary uplift once the Level 3 Award has been achieved.
  • 3% matched Pension Scheme

  • 20 days holiday (increasing with each year of employment, up to a maximum of 25 days) + bank holidays
