Finance Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with excellent organisational skills? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to play a key role in supporting our client's finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied and rewarding role. Description of the role:

  • Manage and maintain outstanding balances, chasing overdue payments.
  • Process invoices, allocate receipts, and support sales ledger functions.
  • Handle petty cash, discounts, and refunds.
  • Assist with ordering goods and managing financial systems.
  • Prepare aged debt reports and liaise with external debt collection agencies.
  • Provide administrative support across various finance tasks.

About you:

  • AAT or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
