We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Nottingham who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Drama teacher to join their team. You will be teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4. KS5 experience would be desired but not essential. This is a long-term position to start in September for the first term initially, with the potential to extend. Job Description:

  • Delivering engaging and creative Drama lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as school trips.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Drama or related field.
  • Recent experience teaching Drama at secondary school level.
  • You must have strong behaviour/classroom management.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
