About the Role:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our leading mental health facility in Nottingham. Known for innovative, high-quality care, our service offers specialized support across several wards, including intensive and acute treatment for women with conditions such as depression, PTSD, and personality disorders. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred assessments and therapeutic interventions that foster recovery and support patients' re-engagement with the community. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional eager to empower individuals toward independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working as an Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for the following duties:
- You will design, adapt, and lead therapeutic schedules, conducting one-on-one assessments to address individual patient needs.
- You will work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment planning.
- You will participate in ward rounds, contributing your expertise to the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
- You will help patients develop essential skills, confidence, and coping strategies necessary for independent living.
What We're Looking For:
All applicants for the role of Occupational Therapist must meet the following criteria:
- You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- You will have experience working with mental health patients, including the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions (placement experience is acceptable).
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- You will be compassionate, proactive, and adaptable, dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Person Specification:
