What you will do:

  • Caseload Management: Maintain a diverse and engaging caseload, evaluate individual needs, and implement support plans to enhance client autonomy.
  • Safeguarding Work: Act as a Safeguarding Officer, ensuring the well-being of vulnerable adults is protected with diligence and care.
  • Assessments and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop strategic plans to connect clients with essential services and support networks.
  • Service User Support: Provide insightful support and guidance to service users and their carers, empowering them to manage their own needs.
  • Community Resources: Leverage community support systems to enhance client outcomes and foster collaboration with local providers.
  • Statutory Duties: Execute safeguarding investigations and conduct risk assessments adhering to statutory requirements.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing service improvement initiatives and mentor team members to elevate practice standards.

Requirements: 

Recognised Social Work qualification accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Registration:

Current registration with the HCPC or an equivalent regulatory body.

Experience:

Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in the field of adult safeguarding, ideally with a focus on older adults. Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in IT for effective record management.Working Arrangements:
