We are excited to partner with a leading healthtech company based in Nottingham to help them find a talented Senior Software Engineer to join their growing development team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer to work on innovative projects that are making a real difference in the healthcare industry. With their service already rolled out nationwide, the company is focused on creating cutting-edge solutions to improve patient care.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software using PHP, Laravel, React, and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to design, implement, and enhance platform features.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices and maintaining high coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a reliable, secure, and high-performing platform.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of future projects.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
  • Proficient in front-end development using React.
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Docker and containerisation is a plus.
  • A passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry is a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience in management/mentoring would be benefical, but not essential.
