About the Role:Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our team in North Nottinghamshire. This role involves supporting young learners in their early educational journey, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment to help them thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support children's social and emotional development.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one support for children with additional needs.
- Prepare learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and record children's progress.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Early Years Education. (desirable but not necessary)
- A passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
