Empowering Learning are seeking a learning support assistant to begin work as soon as possible. The school is a specialist SEN school and the role would be based across KS1 and KS2

The hours of work are 8:30-3:30 and the role is Monday to Friday.

The main duties within the role are:

  • Building relationships with pupils who are unable to access mainstream education
  • Providing academic support to children working below age expected levels
  • Liaising with senior management around progress of the children
  • Providing pastoral support to the children in the setting
  • Calming down situations where challenging behaviour may arise

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working with SEN pupils
  • Is available to begin work immediately
  • Can build strong relationships with the children
  • Is a great communicator
  • Has a good sense of humour! (It Helps)
