Empowering Learning are working with an ever growing independent school looking to add two teaching assistants to their team. The school is set on acres and acres of land and on site there is a working farm with several animals wondering the grounds.

The school houses children who present with SEMH and a range of other special educational needs.

This is a full time and permanent role and will begin in November 2024. The hours of work will be 8:30-4:00.

The school are looking for people who:

  • Have experience dealing with challenging behaviour (Can be school based or another industry)
  • Can build relationships with people refusing to engage within activities
  • Have a resilient attitude and can battle through challenging situations
  • Are willing to give 100% each day
  • Can act as a positive role model to the children
  • Are able to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Are able to communicate effectively with children and staff
