The Role:As an IT Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless project delivery from planning to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on diverse IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and delivering IT infrastructure projects, including servers, networking, and cloud solutions
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting during and after project implementation
- Ensuring project documentation and reports are up to date
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT project engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, networking (firewalls, switches, routers)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving license (as client visits may be required)
