TeacherActive are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout Nottingham & Derby. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a HTLA's with experience of working with challenging young people to provide KS1-KS4 Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis who is not currently accessing mainstream education.

The students have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD. As they have been out of education for some time, they require support with their core subjects, Maths and English, however will be working at a lower level. The HTLA will need to assess their current ability and reintroduce education into their routine whilst a suitable school provision is found. Lessons will take place either in a local Library or the young persons home.

Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have strong understanding of SEN and a good level of Maths and English

• Hours: 10-15 hours a week (during the school day)
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: ongoing
