We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join this mechanical contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of domestic & commercial plumbing systems and be able to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The workconsists of shopfitting, care home extensions, sports pavilions, day centres and activity centres. We require a well versed Plumber who is comfortable with both domestic and commercial projects. Applicants must be willing to work away on a regular basis.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.
- Progress into a supervisor role.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Be willing to work away on a weekly basis with hotels and meal allowance paid for by the company.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter or Commercial Plumber.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- A valid driving licence.
- Shopfitting/Healthcare/Leisure experience will be an advantage but not essential.
