Field service engineer
Location: Nuneaton
Salary: up to £35-45K, plus company car, laptop, mobile, benefits, full product training & pension
Hours: 39 Day shift
To cover mechanical and electrical work at customer premises across the UK:
Day to Day Duties:
• General servicing
• Planned maintenance
• Break down services
• Fault finding
• Repairs
• Installations
Equipment working on :
• Vertical Borers
• Vertical/Horizontal Lathes
• 5 Axis machines
• Toshiba / Shibaura, Takumi, Gruppo Parpas, FAT Haco - to name but a few.
Job Requirements:
Experience with
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic system fault-finding.
• Machinery decommissioning/recommissioning.
• Full re-alignments of CNC machining centres and CNC lathes.
• Setting up Grid Shift and Backlash Parameters.
• Installation and replacement of Ball Screws.
• Replacement of Spindles and Dresser Bearings.
• General Mechanical repairs.
• Annual service work.
You will need to be an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer with a strong engineering background in Fanuc and Heidenhain Control Systems. You will need to be prepared to stay overnight only if required.
