About The Job:

As a Database Account Administrator, you will be part of the Data Services team, contributing to various tasks crucial to our client's operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Supplier Engagement:

  • Develop and manage established supplier relationships
  • Collaborate extensively with suppliers via phone and email
  • Resolve or escalate any external supplier issues

Data Management:

  • Analyse and manipulate large excel data sets
  • Develop a sound understanding of packaging data, packaging levels, and material types
  • Ensure the collection of accurate information to maintain the in-house packaging database
  • Conduct targeted data gathering activities
  • Support system integrity throughout

Service Delivery:

  • Contribute to overall team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets
  • Strive for continuous process improvement
  • Work alongside colleagues to build strong working relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers
  • Attend and support during customer site visits

Essential Competencies:

  • IT proficiency in MS systems, particularly Excel
  • Experience in data entry, analysis, and manipulation

Desirable:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous office-based experience
  • Ability to travel to customers within the UK
