The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation seeking an ambitious Digital Channel Manager to drive the growth of another website and app. This is an exciting opportunity to shape digital strategy, optimise online performance, and enhance customer propositions, including Click & Collect and other tailored offerings for the ROI market.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will develop and execute a dedicated trade and optimisation plan to accelerate digital growth beyond its current trajectory. This role offers a hybrid working model, based in Nuneaton, with occasional travel to London or other company locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a dedicated eCommerce strategy aligned with business and customer objectives to accelerate digital growth.
  • Create and manage an ROI-specific trade plan, collaborating with commercial and marketing teams to maximise market opportunities.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for digital sales, working closely with finance and marketing teams.
  • Analyse and report on digital performance, presenting insights and action plans in regular sales review meetings.
  • Track and optimise key performance indicators (KPIs), using analytics tools such as Metabase to drive improvements.
  • Identify new product and range opportunities using data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and sales.
  • Continuously review website and app performance, implementing optimisation strategies to improve user journeys and conversion rates.
  • Manage key customer propositions, including Click & Collect, Subscribe & Save, and delivery options, driving greater adoption and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute effective on-site marketing campaigns to enhance digital visibility and sales.
  • Work cross-functionally with digital marketing, UX, operations, and customer experience teams to refine and improve online touchpoints.
Candidate Criteria
  • Proven experience in eCommerce management within an established omni-channel retailer.
  • Strong understanding of digital merchandising, using a data-led approach to improve site optimisation and product visibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital analytics and experience with advanced data platforms (e.g., Tableau, Metabase).
  • Solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and digital P&L management.
  • Strong expertise in UX/UI principles and experience in conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
  • Ability to analyse complex customer data and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Understanding of key digital business functions, including trading, digital marketing, UX, operations, and customer experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with eCommerce platforms and content management systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment on strategic decisions.
  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of digital sales levers and how to enhance online conversion rates.
