The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational and personal development, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom activities and manage behavior in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
