JOB – Field Service EngineerLOCATION – HartshillTERM- PermanentSALARY - £35,000-£45,000, dependent on experienceMy client designs and manufactures specialist equipment for process industries. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Hartshill area on a permanent basis.The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills
Ideally some background working with automotive machinery
Experience servicing small vehicles such as road sweepers, forklifts or similar would be beneficial
Knowledge of battery power and combustion engines would also be ideal
Great communication and customer service skills
Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
Team player who is passionate about their work
Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
Holds a full UK driving licence

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

Travelling to customer sites to deliver and service machinery
Electrical maintenance and repair
Training customers on how to use their machinery
Electrical servicing with some mechanical elements
Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
Developing strong relationships with customers
