We are recruiting for an experienced Events Marketing Officer on an initial 3-month temporary contract with the view to potential to go permanent. You will be working for a well-established College within the Warwickshire area.The main purpose of the role is to be to lead on the planning and delivery of the events and be the initial contact point for all events activity for the College as well as being responsible for the College annual events, VIP events and student recruitment events.As an Events Marketing Officer, your main responsibilities will be:*Support and deliver of all events including conferences, seminars, training and virtual events*Lead on delivery of external events*Work with the departments to identify events required and plan annual calendar with defined outcomes*Planning and negotiation with 3rd party suppliers *Manage the promotions of the events*Follow procedures to ensure all information in relation to the event is accurate and communicated*Liaise with internal and external support services *Manage post-event evaluation and update on performance of events and assessment against the objectives and costs*Identify any key college personal required to support event and ensure that they are briefed appropriately by the event owner Skills and experience required for the role:*Events and marketing experience*Experience in using Eventbrite, Microsoft Packages, Teams and Zoom*Excellent customer service*Good written and communication skills*Team player*Event management *Highly organised Working Hours/Pay rate:*Full time working 37.5 hours a week, with an open discussion of working hybrid*Paying £12.79 p/h Please note under the safeguarding act an Enhanced DBS or update service will be required.
