Are you looking to start a career in Early Years? We have a fantastic opportunity working at a nursery as an Early Years apprentice at our clients setting in Astley, Nuneaton. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Early Years with a keen interest in childcare. This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled Practitioner whilst gaining valuable experience in the childcare sector.
About the role:
Assist in providing effective liaison with parents on a day-to-day basis regarding the welfare, learning and development of the children in the nursery.
To complete specific childcare tasks such as washing, changing nappies, assisting in feeding etc. where necessary
To be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the setting, e.g. preparation of snacks, meals, cleaning of equipment etc.
Always comply with policies and procedures.
Treat all staff, children and parents with courtesy, kindness and professionalism always.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in a career in Early Years
- Effective and confident communicator
- Highly motivated
- Enthusiastic in nature

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
To not already hold an Early Years qualification at level 3 or above
To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
