Are you wanting to join a dynamic team as a Sales Administrator?

This role is crucial for managing a portfolio of accounts, focusing on retention and growth of pre-selected product ranges. You will be an integral part of the sales administration team, ensuring all tasks are up-to-date and providing essential support to both our internal team and customers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide back office technical and commercial support to Key Account Managers and Regional Sales colleagues
  • Coordinate customer projects and product requirements from enquiry to delivery
  • Address simple technical queries from customers or installers
  • Support the development of concepts by liaising with the Factory and sales colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with factories and external suppliers to meet customer requirements
  • Act as the first point of contact for new customers, assisting them in product selection and converting enquiries into sales
  • Develop and maintain a strong product knowledge
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through effective management of assigned clients
  • Provide logistics information, track orders, and manage freight costs
  • Produce and follow up on quotations
  • Maintain and update CRM and other systems
  • Occasionally visit suppliers and customers and make arrangements for trade shows
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A technical degree is preferred, or a commercial degree with technical experience
  • Proven experience in a similar technical internal sales role
  • Strong project management skills and commercial acumen
  • Familiarity with the market and the specification/tender process is advantageous
  • Proficient in IT and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling complex customer queries and explaining technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage a high workload
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and sales-driven, with effective customer service skills
