A college in Nuneaton is seeking a dedicated A Level English Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. This role offers the potential for permanency for the right candidate, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures to A Level English students.
- Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials in line with educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments and examinations.
- Provide feedback and support to students to aid their academic development.
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the college’s academic standards.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of the department.
- A degree in English or a closely related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching A Level English.
- Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
