Plant Technician
Up to £50,000 (OTE) per annum

Our client, a trusted machinery dealer, is seeking for a Plant Technician who also has HGV experience and relevant qualifications.
The ideal candidate will be keeping our customer's vehicles and machinery fully maintained and compliant to maximise uptime and will be able to deliver an exceptional service to the highest quality.
Role: Plant & HGV Technician
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours a week
Location: Nuneaton
Key Responsibilities of Plant Technician:
- Performing major and minor repairs to plant machinery as well as heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles as required.
- Carrying out PDI works and attachment set up on plant machinery.
- Mobile repair and maintenance of plant machinery.
- Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services according to machine hrs and schedules.
- Maintaining inventory in the service vehicle and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
- Working with other departments, including the sales team to ensure a quality and reliable service level is provided to customers.
- Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for to machines/vehicles.
Requirements Plant Technician:
- Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance
- Plant machinery repair and maintenance to a minimum of Level 3.
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
- Have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle and machinery classes.
