Remit:
- This position will suit an experienced Production Supervisor or Shift Leader with a background in plastics who is looking to further their career
- Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within polymer processing, ideally injection moulding or extrusion

Role:
- As Production Supervisor you will lead and motivate a small team to ensure high work standards are maintained
- In the role of Production Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout the plant
- Ensure production equipment is performing to the agreed target
- Minimise scrap levels
- Conduct regular team briefings
- Control overtime and record accurately to ensure accuracy of weekly payments
- Motivate team to achieve agreed targets
- Update daily information to the Kiosk system
- Maintain quality levels to set standard and carry out daily checks to ensure they are performed
- Manage team performance KPIs by leading through example
- Ensure work is carried out to the SSOW and SOPs
- Lead and provide assistance with tool changeovers
- Ensure compliance with all new Company policies including Health & Safety
- Observe and comply with all good working practices
Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience within a plastics manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of injection moulding / extrusion process and machinery an advantage
- Adept at using Mircosoft Office packages
- Methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work on own initiative but understand level of responsibility within the team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people
- Ability to priortise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently
- Good time management skills
