Veracious Talent Partners are partnering with a leading UK retailer as they look to strengthen their transactional finance team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate taking their first step into Accountancy & Finance or an AAT studier eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent career progression.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in sales and cash reconciliations, ensuring the company maintains a strong cash position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily sales-to-cash reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-end processes, including journal postings and reconciliations.
  • Manage control account clearances and manual adjustments.
  • Validate and post online orders weekly.
  • Report and investigate banking discrepancies.
  • Assist with sales, banking queries, and external audit figures.
  • Provide team support and cover when needed.
