The successful candidate will work closely with our secondary students, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. This role involves working with students who have a variety of additional needs, including but not limited to learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting adults or children with additional needs is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are desirable but not essential.
