About the Role:
This is a rewarding position for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with young children in Reception, providing vital support in both academic and personal care.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons tailored to the needs of SEN children.
Assisting children with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are engaged and included in classroom activities.
Providing one-to-one or small group support as necessary, helping children achieve their learning goals.
Supporting with personal care duties, including nappy changing, ensuring the well-being and comfort of the children.
Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Ensuring the safeguarding, health, and safety of all pupils at all times.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with SEN children in a similar environment, ideally in the Early Years/Reception phase.
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to working with children with additional needs.
Willingness to provide personal care, including nappy changing, as part of the role.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Up-to-date safeguarding certificate.
Ability to commit to a full-time role with a flexible and positive attitude.
