Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for SEND? Do you specialise in KS1 or KS2 and are looking for a new opportunity to support young children with SEN? Our esteemed partner primary school in central Nuneaton is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join from January. This role will continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
  • Create and adapt engaging learning activities to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Lead interventions for groups of learners, including phonics and reading sessions.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Offer support to pupils with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
  • Work with individuals or small groups of students both within the classroom and in other learning settings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
  • Experience working with children in KS1 or KS2.
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
