Our client seeks a driven newly qualified accountant, ideally from practice, ready for their first industry role or a commercial sector step-up. This Financial Accountant role offers exposure to international operations and the chance to influence financial reporting in a dynamic environment.
What will the Financial Accountant role involve?
- Financial control across international entities of the group (Ireland, Netherlands, France, and others as expansion continues).
- Maintaining relationships with overseas advisors in each jurisdiction to ensure compliance with local reporting requirements, including Corporation Tax, VAT, annual accounts, and other statutory needs.
- Managing any local audit requirements for overseas entities.
- Ensuring ledger accuracy to support a timely and high-quality month-end process.
- Implementing an efficient and accurate intercompany process in support of a group treasury plan.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting quarterly sales volume reports to major suppliers.
- Supporting category managers in preparing annual business plans and reviewing the financial viability of new business opportunities.
