Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking temporary and full time Chefs for a school based in the Rutland area of the East Midlands.
Salary c.£28500 to £32000 per annum plus overtime plus excellent benefits and perks.
Salary based on 40hrs per week and depends on level of experience, we are looking at an experienced Chef De Partie (CDP), a Sous Chef and a Senior Sous Chef with experience of working in a school and with an in date enhanced DBS clearance, although we can support you in completing a DBS check.
The rota:
Working a 40hr week, typically 4 short days and 1 long day per week for example:
AM 06:30-14:00
PM 12:00-19:00
LD 06:30/07:00-19:00
LD = Long day
5/7 days per week, always having one weekend day off per week
Covering breakfast, lunch and dinner service

Requirements:
- Full UK RTW and 5 year address history within the UK (mandatory)
- Valid enhanced DBS clearance with evidence (mandatory)
- High volume, high quality, fresh produce experience (mandatory)
- Large numbers experience (mandatory)
- Qualified and/or time service Chef De Partie, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef
- Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Food Hygiene certification (ideal)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (ideal)
- Organisation and ability to thrive under pressure (ideal)
- Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle (preferable)
- Experience within a school environment (preferable)
