We are seeking a passionate and experiencedHead Chefto lead the kitchen team at a renowned hotel in a picturesque location. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef to manage a brigade of seven chefs in a busy kitchen, serving a 40 to 45 cover restaurant, operating seven days a week in a Leicestershire village
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of seven chefs, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Menu planning, development, and execution, with a focus on seasonality and locally sourced ingredients.
Work closely with management on the development and enhancement of the culinary product.
Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor a team.
Creative flair and passion for innovation in the kitchen.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of cost control, menu development, and supplier management.
