With a long heritage and extensive blue chip client base, you will be joining a well-run entrepreneurial SME. It goes without saying you will have experience of running the nuts and bolts of a monthly and annual accounts cycle, including managing the 3rd party relationships with auditors and HMRC and possibly some currency management.Having previously worked in manufacturing, you will feel equally at home in the factory discussing Capex or variances, as you are behind the computer. Where you will really add value is your commercial support to the board, which will range across short- and long-term strategic planning cycles, commercial insight into contracts and production processes and use of BI tools to improve speed and visibility of operational data. To support you in your leadership role, you will be managing an experienced team, and working alongside an enthusiastic board who are extremely passionate about the product, and opportunities for future growth. Due to the nature of this role, you'll be a qualified accountant with PQE experience in a broad management position You may have wrapped all this experience together in a similar SME role, or equally be coming from a larger business where you have covered all bases and now seek to secure a more rounded role.
