40,000 - 60,000 +Car/Allowance + Package

My client have a reputation for building traditionally designed quality homes in prime rural and town locations across Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. Every home is different with a detailed specification to follow and tremendous attention to detail. They take great care in the quality of the finish and choice of building materials.

They comply with NHBC regulations and consumer codes for home builders. In 2018 they won the "Best small new housing development" title at the regional LABC Awards and it's the third time they have been recognised for this achievement.

Due to current workload and the anticipation of a future pipeline they are looing to invest in a specialist Quantity Surveyor that has procurement capabilities.

The job role will entail typical Quantity Surveying duties: commercial management, cost reporting, CVRs, contract management, sub-contract procurement and management, invoice preparation. It will also include procurement aspects and estimating: calculating take-offs and preparing tenders for private clientele.

The Ideal Candidate

You must fully understand the build process from setting out building points and levels of the ground to finishing a building internally to an incredibly high standard.

You must have exposure to house building and the different aspects of commercial management i.e., procurement, quantity surveying and estimating.
