Property Manager - Oakham

Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team in Oakham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with property management experience to take on a key role within a dynamic and supportive team.

Package:
  • Basic Salary: Circa £22,500 to £25,000 PA
  • OTE: £30,000
Responsibilities:
  • Handle tenant references and process tenancy applications.
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and all associated paperwork.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer queries face-to-face and via email.
  • Manage maintenance queries, liaising with contractors to resolve issues.
  • Conduct tenant check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Prepare property folders for new tenancies and manage deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of property management and legal requirements.
Essential Requirements:
  • Property management experience with a focus on dealing with tenants and landlords.
  • Strong customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work closely with a team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A quick learner who thrives on working independently and can demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
  • Problem-solving abilities to manage maintenance issues and queries effectively.
  • A genuine interest in property and working with people.
  • A UK driving license and access to your own car.
Role Requirements:
  • This is an office-based role with some out of office appointments for property inspections, tenant check-ins, and check-outs.
