If you enjoy making a real difference to people's lives, our Care Worker role could be for you.

Your Role:

  • Assist Service Users to live safely in their own home by supporting them with daily living tasks. This can include personal care support, meal preparation, medication prompts, shopping or cleaning assistance or companionship visits.
  • Work to a rota and travel between service users providing multiple visits per shift.
  • Be a positive, cheerful and enthusiastic representative of Carers Direct Ltd.
  • Enable the Service User to carry out activities as independently possible.
  • To be aware of changes in the Service Users physical and mental health, and to report these to your line manager and / or relevant others.
  • Liaise, where appropriate, with Service Users relatives, health professionals and others contributing to their care, in order to promote continuity of care.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records whilst maintaining the Service Users privacy.
  • Contribute to updating of Service Users individual care plan, and take part in any re-assessment of care needs.
  • Communicate regularly with your manager and administration staff to assist the organisation in maintaining a high quality of service delivery.
