Position: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £85-90 per day

As a TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the classroom, from assisting with lesson planning and delivery to working closely with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and school support staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.This role allows you to make a real impact by helping students, particularly those with special educational needs, develop their skills, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and relevant assistance in the classroom.
  • Creating an engaging and positive environment.
  • Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
  • Adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
  • Watch, record and report the progress that students make.
  • Safeguarding the children, engaging them in activities.

Requirements are:

  • Must be residing in the UK
  • Have eligibility to work
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Able to provide professional references
  • Should have at least 6 months of TA experience
  • Having a car and driving to the workplace is desired
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
