SEN Teaching Assistants – Full time - Okehampton - DRIVERS WANTED

GSL Education is partnering with a Special Needs school in Okehampton to hire more full-time Teaching Assistants. The students at this school have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs, severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, as well as a range of complex needs.

GSL Education are seeking those with previous SEN Teaching Assistant or those with good transferrable skills e.g. Support or Care work.

Personal Care may be required.

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full time)   
Location: Okehampton
Salary:   £83.33 per day
Start Date: October 2024

We will prioritise candidates with a valid driving licene and access to a vehicle

  • Experienced candidates will be preferred.
  • Candidates with a driving license and access to a vehicle will be prioritized.

  • Apply consistent interventions and participate in activities to promote academic progress and success.
