Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients across sectors including agriculture, retail, and professional services
- Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax returns and VAT submissions
- Advising clients on business performance, tax efficiency and financial strategy
- Acting as a main point of contact for client queries and relationship management
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
- Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met across the portfolio
- Supporting wider business development efforts and contributing to firm growth

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least five years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver commercial advice
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- A proactive, personable approach and commitment to client service
