Fawkes & Reece South are working with a leading regional civil engineering contractor who are working on several highways' schemes and other projects on behalf of National Highways and private clients. The schemes are based on NEC contracts and are in Devon, Cornwall & Somerset with values up to 20m. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be involved in a diverse scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage and ducting etc.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a Commercial Manager to ensure that the commercial duties are being performed in line with NEC3 contracts. You will be involved in (but not limited to):
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
- Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
- Managing any changes in a timely manner in accordance with the forms of contract
- Producing, submitting and agreeing monthly applications
- Attending weekly progress meeting with subcontractors and the client
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Degree-qualified or equivalent in a Quantity Surveying subject or similar
Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
