As a Respiratory Nurse, you will:
  • Conduct patient audits and deliver specialist clinics
  • Provide mentorship and support to general practice staff
  • Improve patient outcomes in line with local and national guidelines
  • Work primarily in primary care settings
  • Be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions

The ideal Respiratory Nurse will have:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing respiratory conditions
  • Current experience in COPD and/or asthma reviews in primary care
  • A keen interest in respiratory managemen
  • Experience in spirometry
  • A full driving licence and current NMC registration
  • Desirable qualifications include COPD/Asthma diplomas and ARTP accreditation
