Job Title: Food Technology Teacher - IMMEDIATE START

Location: Okehampton, DevonSalary: £30,000 - £43,000 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our thriving school community in Okehampton. This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start and provides an excellent opportunity to inspire students and develop their culinary skills while fostering a love for food technology. You will lead engaging lessons, deliver practical demonstrations, and support students in achieving academic success in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

• Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons in Food Technology, incorporating both theory and hands-on practical activities.
• Curriculum Development: Ensure lessons meet curriculum requirements and are tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Student Assessment: Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage development.
• Health & Safety Oversight: Maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
• Pastoral Care: Support student's personal development, welfare, and progress within a positive classroom environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
• Specialisation: Background in Food Technology or related subject.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience at the secondary level is highly desirable.
• Passion for Teaching: A commitment to inspiring and engaging students in the subject.
• Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management effectively.
