Job responsibilities:

  • Ensuring pupils were escorted to their correct classes, dealing with complicated parent queries hourly.
  • Answering a busy school switchboard, transferring calls to the correct department.
  • Making calls to the parents/carers hourly & transferring to the classroom.
  • CPOMs, Arbor, school sign in system, excel, word etc.
  • Helping entering all course certificates onto a spreadsheet, safeguarding etc.
  • Monitoring the entrance to the schools electronic gates, intercom for cars and pedestrians.
  • Security intercom for front door, ensuring every visitor had correct colour lanyard & department re CBS cert. etc, announcing over the school tanoy system, entering registers, monitoring the alarm system connected to each classroom that sounds if the classroom needs urgent assistance, then using walkie talkies to ensure the incident is dealt with quickly & efficiently.
  • First Aid book, Christmas Fayre & Coffee mornings.
  • Photocopying, franking, fire & H&S, stationery & helped the general wellbeing of a Special Needs School
