Brief description:

This role is available up to end of April 2025.

We are looking for a SAR Co-Ordinator to join the Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board Business Team providing support to team members.

The Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board is tasked with ensuring that adults with needs for care and support are safe even in these challenging times.

In this role the team operates with hybrid working which means working some days from home and at least one day per week in the office.Role requirements:

We are seeking a skilled and competent candidate with excellent administration and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be required work alongside the Board Subgroups and Lead Officers as they undertake projects, prepare agendas and undertake a varied range of support tasks such as:• Minute-taking.• Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks.• Organising meetings and panels.• Responding to queries via email and phone, providing advice and guidance.• Monitoring the progress of individual cases and ensuring all relevant agencies are kept informed of the progress together with outcomes and recommendation of the SAR panel.*Please view the Job Description attached for a full list of duties.

Experience requirements:• Able to work well as part of a team.• Works off of their own initiative.• Focussed• Organised and great at planning.• Experience of working with sensitive data, Data protection, confidentiality and GDPR practice.• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.• Local Authority experience desirable but not necessary if the candidate has strong Admin skills.

Standard DBS is required for this role.
