We are recruiting a Business Development Executive to work for a successful manufacturing company based in Oldbury. You will be based on the road developing new clients and visiting existing and lapsed clients too. The client deal with insulated glass units.The main duties will be:
  •  Manage own sales territory of small to medium businesses and achieve annual and quarterly targets.
  •  Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships and sales activity to promote the company's services.
  •  Develop proposals and budgets for the sales opportunities within the assigned areas.
  •  Act as client point of contact and ensure on-going client satisfaction throughout sales process and where applicable operational contract.
  •  Manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving internal stakeholders as appropriate.
  •  Ensure that the CRM system is kept up to date on a regular basis and is accurate at all times as per the Sales Manual
  •  Proactively reach out to prospective customers
  •  Navigate inbound sales inquiries
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Highly motivated to build a client base.
  •  Positive, can-do attitude and a positive mind-set to achieving targets to support growth.
  •  Ability to build external relationships with potential new clients from the onset.
  •  Experience of successful sales calls and face to face meetings.
  •  Ambitious and eager to overachieve targets.
