Reception Teacher

Flourish Education are looking to recruit a Reception Primary Teacher to work in a 1-form entry school on a full-time basis. This role has the potential to become permanent from the following academic year.

Our client has been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is in the Oldbury area and aim to enable children to be happy, engaged and positive about their future. They are looking to recruit a Reception Class Teacher who can support these attributes.

As a Primary Teacher in our client’s school, based in Reception, you will be responsible for but not limited to planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teacher assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy and attending meetings where necessary.

The Primary Teacher role is due to start in January and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. You will also be expected to attend staff meetings every Tuesday after school and partake in Parents evening. You will be allocated PPA time.

• Experience in teaching in Early Years
• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Commitment to the role
• A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
