Salary: £40,000 + 10% bonus- £44,000 in total

As a Maintenance Engineer, youll oversee the continuous running of production operations, ensuring machines, tools, and equipment are in top shape. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and installations to avoid downtime.
- Reviewing job orders and prioritising tasks efficiently.
- Managing workers and contractors in building and equipment maintenance.
- Developing a preventive maintenance program.
- Ensuring all compliance certificates and electrical equipment meet legislation standards.
- Responding swiftly to emergencies, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Planning and introducing new procedures to enhance operations and reduce costs.
Youll also be responsible for training staff on the proper use of machinery, liaising with management and quality control to resolve maintenance issues, and ensuring all company policies are followed. Plus, youll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to keep things running even more efficiently.
